I have a pair I picked up at least two years a go. there aluminum gauntlets with inclosed thumbs. probibly one of the first designs in the sca with an inclosed thumb.
how should I go about attaching it to my glove?
I have some jiffy rivets but they are to long because I dont have anythign to put inside the thumb to rivet on to I am kind of stuck with out a salution.

I need these for a demo tomarrow.

nothing like procrastanation to cause a little pannic.

Clamp a piece of barstock/ handle for ratchet/or anything else similar into a vise to use as a solid backing for setting the rivet.
Otherwise attach the glove below the enclosed part. Once your thumb is inside it probably won't be able to slip out.
Hard to say for sure though without seeing pics.

Shoe goo... just glue your glove in.

I just fixed up my new gauntlets from Clang, what I did is I took out the rivets at the articulation, added a thin strip of leather that goes across the inside of the thumb and sewed a leather thumb scale in. I then sewed the scale to the edge of my leather gauntlet.

It works best not on the articulation but a bit in front of it, so maybe add some small holes and rivets.
