Does anyone have a close-up of some of armours with latin inscriptions engraved in latten edging? I'm thinking the Churburg 13 armor had this, with the AMOR motto running around it, but I can't find any images and a quick Google turned nothing up.

Page 287 of Techniques of Modern Armour Reproduction has two close ups of acid etched latten, in Latin, of the style you are looking for. Figure 23.22 and figure 23.23 However I have no scanner at the moment. If you get nothing else I can scan later this week.
