CALL FOR PAPERS
Arms and Armor Society of America
At the 2005 South Central Renaissance Conference
An International Conference
Hosted by Pepperdine University
Malibu, California
March 3 - 5, 2005


Papers (15-20 minutes in length) are invited for a session on early modern
European arms and armor, and topics relating closely thereto. Submit
abstracts (500 words), e-mail only, by December 1, 2004 to Julia Bourbois,
Director of the Arms and Armor Society of America, at julia@aas-usa.net.

* Program participants are required to join the SCRC and are encouraged to
submit publication-length versions of their papers to the SCRC journal,
Explorations in Renaissance Culture.


* AASA session participants are required to be members of the Arms and
Armor Society of America. Annual dues are only $10.


* Graduate students presenting a paper at the 2005 conference may apply to
the program chair Norman Land for travel assistance (maximum $200).
