Just wanted to pop a message to everyone one the board.

Been here about 2 years (at least that's when I made the account), mostly just a lurker. Only really started posting a few months ago.

From everyone's suggestions I recently built a new coat of plates from GAA Armouries, made it with some leather from bruntan's village, and was able to strap and pad an old helm I had lying around.

All thanks to the advice from fellow archivers. I noticed on the board (at least in the off-topic section) that there can be arguments and flame battles which happen any time you get a group of people together. I just thought it would be nice to post a little message to everyone on here for the good advice you have given me.

My wife even loves the work I did and wants to take some pictures of the new kit before I "get it all dirty when I go out to play".

Once again.. Thank you to everyone for their advice. Still looking to build or commission a lorica segmentata for the future but this will get me onto the field for little $$ until I get the rest done.
