Howdy,
Anybody know what type of rivets come with the Gaa CoP kits?

Yup.. Hollow ones.. He supplies washers for mounting to leather too..

I actually went with the standard pop rivits when I built my kit. Figured it would be better to loose a rivit than tear through the leather.

The two piece, large headed Jiffy rivets work the best, I have found.

Tube rivets work, however they are a bit more difficult.

I prefer to use Jiffy rivets (using a setter makes very nice round heads).

If you are using cloth, seperate the threads, do not cut the threads when you put the rivets in.

If you are using thin or stretchy leather, making "washers" out of the same leather helps the rivets from pulling through.

Just a couple of thoughts.
