This is my first attempt a posting a picture here so I hope it works.
Here is a helmet that I just finished up. It's the second one I made now. The first one was functional but not very pretty. I am not saying that this helmet is either authentic or documentable but I enjoyed making it.

Personally I like it. It definately has elements from a couple of different ridge helms that I know of.

There is indeed something wrong, probably with the server. Right click on the X and go to properties. Copy the url there and paste to your browser address line. I was able to the helm by doing this.

Very weird, I can't see the image either... I clicked 'edit post', cut & pasted the URL into my address bar, and was able to see it that way.
Very nice helmet! Did you cover the helmet bowl with leather, or is it russeted? Whatever are you going to do with that welded camail now?
I put the pic on my Archive webspace...
