Greetings all,

Has anyone seen the Medusa shield up close in person??? I will post a pic in a few minutes of the one that I am talking about.

I need physical dimentions (height, width, depth) of the head.

Thanks in advance,

Hey man,
Are you talking about the one produced by CAS-Iberia (Or one produced by any other company/person) or perhaps a replica of the classical Medusa shield from the Greek Myths?

According to the book Heroic Armour of the Italian Rennaissance the Medusa Shield of Charles V is 23 5/16" in diameter. The inner circle, upon which the Medusa head is embossed, is 10 inches in diameter. The head is in relief approximately 2 inches above the surface of the shield. Is that the info that you were looking for?
