A call to arms, my first legs

Post by douse »

So I'm almost done with my first complete set of armour. The last piece is the steel leggings. Im trying to figuire out the best way about supporting them through a harness system. Should i go for a belt harness? I thought about attatching it to my kidney belt but im tall (6"5) and its to much of a gap i think. If anyone could suggest a link or comments on harness construction. I cant wait to get back out to fighter practice. Also could i just take the thigh pieces off and use the knee cops? And how would those attach without slipping? Thank you kind sirs for any information spared

I do not use it myself, but I have seen a suspender-like harness that drapes over your shoulders around the back of your neck. It obviously goes under your chest protection down to your leg armor. The fighter who wears it swears by it. He's a shorter guy, like me, but mayhap you will find this method suitable?

Keep us informed about how it goes!
