I'll be heading to London the 24th through the 29th this month. I'm actually going to see the premier of the new Dr. Who series with some friends from SFX magazine there.
Would anyone recommend a cool armor mueseum to hit? Obviously the Tower and all that, but I was wondering if there were any out of the way stuff in or around London that somebody here would reccomend.
Thanks!

If you can go to Leeds, to see the Royal Armouries Large collection....unfortunatly, Leeds is pretty far out there, and there's absolutely nothing else to do in Leeds.

I'm hoping that "and all that" includes the Wallace Collection in London.

The Victoria and Albert
might be of interest. Mixed in with all the other stuff is some late European armour, and Asian armour, I believe.

The British Museum has a fair amount of interesting stuff, including the Sutton Hoo helm. It is in London and it's FREE!!!!

The Wallace Collection in London has probably the finest collection of armour in England. Absolutely superb - and entry is free!
