Review of Cet's work

Post by Murdock »

I just opened the box and got my guantlets and breastplate. Spring steel baby!

The gunatlets articulate very very smooth and are so light that they don't feel real. I love the brass rope band around the wrist. Gloves already inside and very well secured. The guant moves with my hand.

AND NO YOU CAN"T TRY EM ON!!! you'll strech the gloves out , :P

The breastplate is just ..... wow

It's simple and smooth just like the real Churburg 14. I love the stop rib, and the very top of it where the straps attach has this really subtle sawtoothing. I'm not 100% sure but the buckles look hand made.

Cet cut me a great deal and really out did himself espically to get it all here by the war. Can't wait till i can get the arms and greaves i want from him.

I'll be "field testing" them in a couple hours i'll upate ya then.

right now i'm very happy.

I have no ability to post pics

BUt i did get to try the stuff out.

The guants are perfect for pole arm and spear. Great (spring steel)coverage and very smooth articulation

they take a shot like you would'nt believe(spring steel), got nailed with a really hard greatsword shot and hardly felt it

the breastplate is light light light and fits lik ea (spring steel)glove

I love the buckels on it and the onverall look (spring steel!!!)is just very very clean

NOW if only i have my helmet back from Lewis and i had bought those legs from Jeff at Pensic, i'd be perfect!..... well i'd look (spring steel) perfect

Oh and btw they're spring steel!!! Just incase ya didn't know.

I work in Cets shop, I basically subcontract from him. The gauntlets look very similar to the pictures on my website:

gkarmory.com

I will also post a picture of them here.

yes I do. what type. All orders are at 3-4 months right now, for completion. I have a few projects that I am working on right now that once done open up the que.

I normally don't take orders unless I can get them out in a few months, I hate the waiting process as much as anyone else. If I go over the alloted time I let you know and work things out accordingly.
