I thought you all might like to see these, I guess this really isn't fair since the person who comissioned hasn't even seen them yet, but they looked so nice I had to share.

Okay, I'll bite, So what the heck are Bear-Paw spaulders? Is this for a Mowhawk personna?

Nope the fellow has a bear for the main charge on his arms and asked for this type of spaulders.

If I could come up with the bucks to order them, I'd have them furnished with bright pink leather pointing tabs for the shoulder points... tongues. :P And I might as well outfit the things with round studs, depicting tongue posts -- a 21st-c. feature that would help to date the spauds' actual date of manufacture, a gift to frazzled thirty-ninth-century armor historians...
