Dont laugh .... I understand plastic armour in this forum is generally not accepted too well to say the least but I was looking for a word on its functionality , construction and its over all appearance .... the picture doesnt have enough detail to make a judgement for myself
also what type of helm would go with this
has any one seen or heard of this type of armour

Its been discussed before. The rivets look like pop rivets, which (by experience
) are a BAD thing for armor. For the cost you can get a much nicer looking body armor that will hold up better. granted I've never seen the pice in person, but have asked enough questions of the maker to decide i could do better.

Since the armor is so...'modern', any resemblence to medieval armor would be so coincidental as to make the choice of helmets superfluous.
From what I remember reading about that armor, it is way overpriced, compared to a bit of time with a jigsaw, and a black barrel.
Please, if you do buy it, cover it completely with cloth.

Depends on what you'd like to use it for. Can you be a bit more specific? It's functionality, construction and appearance are relative to your application. In a LARP with a tabard over it, maybe it'd be ok. At the Hastings reenactment, no chance.
What are you looking to use it for?
