picture upload problem

picture upload problem

I have killed myself trying to get these damn pictures up here!!! Can ANYONE help me? Ive tried resizing them and all my pictures are under 1200 pixels. what would 100kb be in pixel terms?

Try looking at the file directory in explorer(My Computer). If all you see are the file names then click on the View tab and select details. The files will be shown in a list and the file size will be in a column to the right of the file name.

What I do is upload a picture into paint. Then, click on "image", select "stretch/skew" from the drop down menu, reduce the image by 50% in both of the top 2 boxes (I think they are labeled "horizontal" and "vertical"), then hit enter. Once that is done, I go back and reduce the 2 dimensions by another 50% and hit enter again. Click "file" and select "save as", rename the file so you still have a copy of the pic in it's original size, and save it as a JPEG. Once it's saved as a JPEG, click "image" and select "attributes" from the drop down box. This will give you the info on the file size and stuff.
