Hi i'm new in armouring and this archive.

I have managed to make/buy the starting kit to dish and bend armour, but i have no idea how to roll edges and what tools are needed for this kind of work ?

Thanks for any reply.

Now being new to the armoring scene myself, Im not sure if this is the preferred way to go about it but the way that I have envisioned it is to bend it into a ninety degree angle over a sharp edge such as a table edge or some such and then continue bending it over until the edge is rolled over touching the inside of the piece that you are working on. Hope that I could be of some help.

That's a folded edge, not a roll. I can't do a roll, but I can do a fold. Image

Actually you can roll it that way. Just take it in gradual stages from the 90 degree. I go it all the time on a straight line. I still have major troubles rolling a curved edge.

if you roll the edge around a piece of stainless wirs it is much easier and doesnt turn into a folded edge when you make a mistake.

Ignore most of the rest of the site though.
