The "armour" zip is 3.3 meg and the "art" zip is 2.2 meg. The art has some Picaso, Monet, and others, along with some medieval art.

Great! I visited that collection several years ago and all I have is the school kids flyer they pass out. I'll try and get it this weekend.

Thanks!

It's a shame that the lighting was not as good as the paintings... oh well more reason to see it in person!

I go there about once a month, just to drool... :-)
I used to work about 3 blocks from the museum, and Tuesdays is free day, in case anyone is ever in the Windy City on Tues. with nothing better to do... Open until 8PM.
:-) They have a book of high res pics. of the armor in the collection, pretty great pics of the armor and weapons, plus some great history of the chicago native who collected it all. He even had a castle up on the north side of the city. Too bad when he died they tore town the castle for a high rise... He left all the armor to the museum in his will! Gotta love that!

Yeah, it could have more pics of the armor, but the ones in it sure are nice. It is an art book, not a study or armor. :-)
