Corectly strapping legs for a LARGE Man

Post by Canonoch »

I got a new set of leg armour last year and have yet to strap them correctly. I never got my thigh wraps from the person who made my legs so I'm gonna put leather for thigh wrap. But I was wondering if anybody had good info on strapping legs correctly since I am of much larger stature than most. A wee bit of info is that I'm 6'4" and 400+ lbs. Thanks all

For many years I fought with just a wide waist belt and a single wide strap on the very outside of my hip, with a single strap behind my thigh and one behind my knee joint. I never had a single problem. I am only 6"ish but I weighed in at 397lbs out of armor.

Nice to meet a fellow LARGE fighter. Thanks for the idea. I need to get my armour ready(fixed up) for the middle of next month for a tournament I really want to fight in. Thanks for the idea

Well, I am not that big any more but I still use the same setup. I lost 213lbs but my leg harness is still the same and it still works.
