Hello.
Now that I'm done with the art piece I can get on with a significant project for myself. What helmet could be more useful from day to day than a bike helmet? So, I've done the first few passes on the skull, 16 guage steel which will have a black oil finish, but I need you guys to help me decide which of the...heh heh...decals  ...needs to go on top. It would be hollow aluminum, so the weight would be minimal for either one.
here are the choices:
note: both look absolutely huge, and will almost certainly be scaled down, now that I think about it.

I like the dragon, his tail could wrap around turning into leather and be the chin strap.
One could align the dragon so as to look more like foward motion.
Ever see this?

Old hood ornaments have that style. swept back and foward thrusting.
The art to look fast.

Best of luck on your bike helm.

Hal

Ps: You can bondo and paint and not have to plainish...

I agree with Hal, the Dragon!!

If your really going 3-D, the legs could be spread in a crouch for stability.

not that I'm partial to Dragons.... 8)
