Hello
sorry i am not a regular member, and i am new at this. I am also sorry but i am not an armourer or a knight or anything like that. I am not experianced or knowledgable in armour at all, so forgive me, but i did see this armour before it was shipped, the same day in fact. i have also seen other work of Matts and i know i am not realy qualified to comment, but i must say that i thought the armour was beautiful. it was smoothly finished and uniformly coloured or blackened. The 'gold' trim was maticulously placed perfectly all around the edging the hinges and rivets were all beautifully finished, polished seated and tight. It was hinged in several places ingeniously, and the hinges were smooth and it opened and closed beautifully, not even one squeek! compared to other works of Matt's, i would have to say this was one of his finest! I have attended SCA events, and seen other armour in the flesh, i would say this was the finest i have ever seen. I know i am not qualified to say, but i thought it might be of interest for you to know that when this shipment was sent from Canada, it was in perfect condition.
please forgive my spelling too..
