Been working on these today. Pics are pitiful but hopefully I'll get better ones later. 16 and 18 guage mild... still needs a bit of tweaking and planishing not to mention a good polish.

Very nice! I like that fans. Are those roped edges on the canons?

Yup, well at least my idea of roping.

I'm getting better at it. Maybe one day it'll even be passible.

Looks nice. From what I can see in the pictures the roping looks really nice too.

You are going to really want to clean them up and match in your metals (bright and blued) to whatever overall finish you are aiming for BEFORE you rivet them together.

Coming along very nicely. Do not get impatiant and rush the job towards the end. Take your time, care about every bit of it, een if you do just want to get them done and over with.
Tht way you will still be proud of how they look in five years time instead of making excuses for them.

Wow, thanks guys. Keep it up and I'll get a big head.

Actaully I need to get that cop cleaned. That's not blued yet but is mill scale.
Far as the fluteing goes, I'm a bit proud of that. Actually got most of them lined up. Same as the dags on the lames. My first real time to try that.
Well, back to the salt mines. lots to do yet.
