I remember a long long time ago talk about a video of Pat Thaden raising a sallet. I checked that thread, and it's over a year since the last update.

Has this project fallen thru?

Is there anyone else who has a video of how to raise a late period hat? Especially and primarily Barbutes and Sallets.

Hi Christopher, I don’t know about Patrick video I sure would like too see it but am working on my own video on the raids armet I finished before Christmas it should be ready next month.

The project did not fall through, and Doug Strong recently advertised this on the Classified board, before the great SNAFU of 2008.

I'm just waiting for Patrick to give me the last bit of feedback and then I'll make the final cut.

I remember the thread, and am interested. This particular thread was one of those that was ressurected by the Great Deletion of '08. It was April of '07...lol.

But I am now very much looking forward to seeing that video of yours, Eric. Veryvery interested.

There are two, actually. One that is Patrick in Doug's basement hammering out a rough sallet.

The first is almost done.

The second was professionally shot at Patrick's workshop and will take some additional time given the nature of the project and thae availability of those involved.

Both will inevitably be a phenominal addition to available educational materials.
