Ok - after watching the latest Eric Dube video for the nineteenth time, I have to ask.

What is the green pad attached to the angle grinder that Eric is using? In this thread Eric says:

Eric Dube wrote:Louis de Leon; The grinder it an ordinary pad that I cut off an inch off from the back support so wend the edge is dull I cut off a quarter wide band to give me extra life to my grinder 120 grit pad.

So I know it's a 120 grit something-or-other, and that's a great tip about whacking an inch off the backing pad so you get more life out of them - I just don't know what they actually are. Anyone know?

And where do you buy them?

Thanks, but I don't think that's it. If you watch the video it has no "flap" to it - it's flat.

Here's the same tool from his breastplate video, from the side:

Louis,
It looks like he decreased the diameter of his sanding disc backing pad. The part that holds the sanding pad. If you do that, the sandpaper wraps up around the edge, so I can see that. Other than that, I think Eric would have to explain farther...
