doublet

where or who can I get some one to make a good arming doublet. I tried makeing one but it didn't come out as planed in another word's I should stick with the metel.

I have been considering making a prototype of one. If you are interested in it, this I what I was planning:

6oz outer shell linen, dyed a darker color (red, blue...)
2 layers 7oz linen interior
1 layer thin(shirtweight) silk

This would be a prototype since I haven't done one before, custom made to your measurements. I have done several arming coats/gambesons before, and I can provide pictures of my past work. I normally ask for 50% up front for materials, then the balance upon completion before I send it out.
