If you weave them in as if they are rings in E4-1 you can do it. If it's already made you might as well start over.

So make a scale one instead of a maille one...Got to the ringlord.com...they should have everything you need there.

i have been to the ringlord but i wasn't sure if it was very credable, plus i don't have a credit or debit card to pay.

she said that if i could she would like me to but i dont have the resources for it (Yet!)

ingvar, i asked her what she would be using it for and she said "role playing" what that entails i didnt ask.

The Ring Lord is the place for mail supplies. They have the absolute best customer service and will go out of their way to make things easy for you.

Even if you don't have a credit card you can send a check or money order.

You might want to look for the process Lorenzo used to make his Lorica Plumata. It sounds like it's right up the ally of what you're contemplating.

That seems rather extreme. I should think it would be quite easy to attach scales over mail by running a link through holes in the scale and threading through one of the existing links in the mail. Probably produce just the kind of shiny jingly effect desired for this kind of application....

why don't you just attach fishing spinners with jewelry jump rings?

They can be absolutely beautiful.

Hell, if she is picking up the cost, go with sterling rings and gold electro plated spinners.

And enjoy the fittings.

Do your self a favor. If any talk about boys or dating comes up, mention to her that you pretty much have to be hit over the head to get the hint. This means that you can ignore anything that isn't a smack on the head. Thus, no misunderstandings.
