The Armour Archive

Hey everyone. Funny how I've done a couple things, but haven't done what most consider to be the armourer's first project. I wanted to for a while, but had other stuff on my plate. Here it is! It's only rough-dished, no planishing. There needs to be a little warp correction, but otherwise it didn't turn out too bad. I just don't know if it's deep enough though. What do you guys think? These new dishing hammers rock.

looks about deep enough from the pictures. correct the warpage, bouge and plannish, polish and you should be good to go. Good work.

Needs to come in at the sides a bit more. The bottom edges (whatever you want to call those edges the ones that it's sitting on in the pic. Should end up about paralell to each other at the bottom. This can likely be achieved by just squishing it a bit with your hands.

I thought it was deep enough, just wanted some confirmation.

matt: I figured I'd do some squishing with the edges to make the lines steeper too. I'll post more pics when they're done.
