I posted pics about a month ago of this doublet.

The buyer sent me some pics of it on him and I thought I would share.

That's me. Edric did an outstanding job on the doublet. It's a herringbone pattern linen on the outside, two layers of heavy linen and one layer of cotton batting inside, and then lined in a natural texture herringbone pattern silk. The thirteen buttons are from the Argent Co. and Edric enameled the centers for me. It's beautiful and it fits like a glove.

Now that’s a right smart garment.

Thanks for the pics.

Excellent work. It's wonderful to see more attention being paid to the foundation garments that go with the armour.

Condottiere, congratulations that is a fantastic doublet. How is the arm movement?

That's a sweet doublet! What references did you use in the design?
