starting over from scratch

does anyone know where i can find a good price on steel lamellar scales? i seem to remember that one of the armor-websites i frequent (i THOUGHT it was wise ogre or waldryk's, but i was wrong on both counts) had scales for sale, but i can't remember which one it was, and an exhaustive scouring of my bookmarks has garnered me zilch. the lamellar scales are the only part of my steel armour that i have no particular desire to make myself - the individual scales i'd rather just buy and tinker with the design/construction on my own... any and all help is, as usual, greatly appreciated...
P.S.: i'm going to be getting my hands on 3ft. of train rail, and if i can find a way to cut it, i'll be selling off 3 6-inch sections... anyone interested?
