A pair of Romanesque/classical Spaulders. All'Tedesca

This project is a bit of whimsy and randomness. I was going to make a pair of straight forward spaulders with 3 lames etc. Not being a straight forward kind of guy, i thought i'd go for something a little different.
They are based off a couple of images and a remaining plate found at Chalcis.
The pattern was one i drew up. After forming the basic spaulder shape i cut out the edge and fluted. Finally got the chance to use a new fluting stake i got a few weeks ago, works a treat!!
The pictures can be seen at: http://s48.photobucket.com/albums/f223/ ... Spaulders/
More will be uploaded within the hour, need to take some less blurry photos
Enjoy.
