Anton's Helmet.

Hmmmnn... Guess his thread died also. But since the great whacking took place while I was posting the pics for him... (And HEY! Wassup with my account?)

Lessee... Stainless steel aventail; 14 gauge; 5/16" id, artificial sinew to leather and a temporary aluminum wire to hold it in place.

And will probably look much better on the owner with proper padding.

The aventail is mine. The helmet is a Wombat build.

If I don't get distracted, I should have my next helm ready for display this weekend. Got a 16 gauge woven top helm I'm getting finished up for the general public/LARP crowd and my own personal learning.
