Hey I'm thinking about making some metal Lamellar armor in the near future.
So i was was wondering what string would be good for this project?
One that wont break or get cut by the friction of the metal against the string.

550 cord ... Also known as Military grade Parachute cord

Or full-grain thick leather lacing.

Rawhide lacing works well also. It will stiffen up the lamellar as well.
