WooHoo !! (pics)

Post by Gocin »

Today i have made the deal of my life. I bought this anvil.

The cast mark says that it weighs about 270 kg. It has a beautifull spring action, and a neat surface. The bigest marks are only 1mm deep so they will grind away. And now the best part. I bought it for 20 $ Image Image And the seller was so happy of getting rid of it he ofered free transport, and he took some mates and got the anvil lifted one the stupm. All i did was hanging around saying " more on the left" or " a bit ti the right" and so. Image

Here is mine, I got it for free for my birthday

It is 120 kg, German type, nice ring and bounce to it. The date on it seems to be 1911

now to finish some of you off a second pic

Maby the pics dont show it good but this shear is so fricking huge !! When the handle is in the "up" position its higer than me and i am over 2m tall... And it weights about 70-80 kg !! But it is so poewrfull !

I can cut a 7mm mild plate by it (sic!) and thats good since i work with 2-3 mm thick steel.

I figured out i cant afford a beverly, hf knock-off will not be tough enough, so i have bought this......... for ~ 32 $

Ahh life is so fine is it not ? Image

Wow, you are 2mm tall?

Please do not come into my shop.. I might mistake you for a really small Rivet.... :-)
