14th c-style X-chair

Post by Muriel »

For your viewing pleasure - a couple links to an X-chair/stool that I've had made based on an illumination. :)

This was the inspiration.

In light of discussions on another thread - I thought I would show the comparison between the one I've designed vs. a purchased one.

Enjoy!
edited to correct the link on the Manuscript pic. Thanks, G!

Thanks! It's very comfortable, too. Of course, I find my posture so much better when sitting in it. :) It was made from oak and then finished with linseed oil. I'm trying to get back with my woodworker (I've had this for over a year - just got around to posting it now) to see if I can have more made.

These are now available under the "Classifieds" section. I'm taking orders on them - with delivery within a month of the final order being placed.
