Norsa's Fall event dates set -VNA

Post by Halvgrimr »

After discussing it further we (Norsa) have decided to go with a date of Oct 24-28th 2007 (location will be Knox City, Mo)

We have arranged to be on site several days before this doing 'sportsmen' like things with our British friends and folks are welcome to join us then as well but expect much more 'modern' living for these few days.

As with TFBO we invite all of our British friends to come and join us.
We promise to treat you like visiting royalty :) If your interested please contact us so that we know how many to plan for.

We have meet with the Amish and have all confidence that the first house will be complete by then as well as the first of many work shelters.

It is possible that more building will be up by then as well but we just can’t say at this time as we are waiting on the final cost of the initial house before committing to more.

More info on the event as things firm up.

The question I have gotten the most already is “So, what kind of event are you having?â€

IF I can keep it frozen that long, and this time around I don't have any emergencies, I've got a moosehide that might need turning into a rug...

"The gals may feel that some dying may need to be done"

Poison or slitting your throats while you sleep?

Sorry I just enjoyed the typo---anybody doing lichen dyeing around there?

Yep. In fact, if I can get period-enough looking tools, I can probably do your goat and pigskins after the slaughtering's happened, too, assuming your butcher knows how to flesh... just need a section of log, and some bulk materials.

I can't completely vouch for it yet: I'm utterly dependent now on the academic calendar... but it'd be fun.
