wondering if any one had a good desing for a late period belt plaques.
My plan at this point is to hand cut the brass plaque blanks with a jewlers frame saw and install these on to my wifes belt.
I would like to do more cut work but not realy shure where to find patterns that will work well.
thanks

I've only got a quick'n'dirty design suggestion: try anything you can find on Victorian Gothic Revival decorative motifs. Dover used to have a whole book of this, though I think you'd have to look on used-book places for this.
I haven't got the depth of knowledge to distinguish a Victorian Gothic imitation from a High Middle Ages original if each is in pristine condition -- only the materials used might clue me.
A good many of these plaque designs look like patterned tile designs -- something symmetrical, floral, and perhaps foliate also.
As you know, once you can draw it, you can saw it.
