My first knife

I have been playing around with making a couple knives for a while now, and this one is my first success. I bit off more than I could chew with my initial plans and had to scale back, but its been a fun learning experience.
The blades are cut from large lumber mill saw blades and (loosely) based on a set of viking knives knives. Limitations with equipment caused me to modify them somewhat, especially the tangs. They were tempered by cutting off chunks of the same steel and experimenting with oil / water quenches until I got a result that seemed strong.
The handle on the first completed one is deer antler that had a slot drilled out and the blade secured with epoxy. Its a bit crooked. I had a lot of trouble with the handles - all the wooden ones came out very poorly, but I don't think the antler looks too bad. Smells like death though when cutting. Hopefully the next one should get some brass accents.
