Atlantian University...snowed out

It pains me to do so, but I believe it is prudent to cancel Winter
University scheduled for this weekend in Mineral VA. Though the storm
MAY allow us to get to the site, it looks like we'd be in danger of
being stuck there. Please everyone stay home, and safely off the roads
if the weather is treacherous in your area. Let us instead think
forward to Summer University hosted by the Barony of Tir-y-don and the
bevy of classes to be offered then.
Thank you Lord Mungo Napier and good gentles of the Shire of Isenfir
for being wonderful to work with.

Winters have been so mild for so many years in this area and this year we are getting slammed with snow.

Yeah. Good thing for that global warming, or it coulda been so much worse.

Climate /= weather.
Regardless of the veracity of the global warming claim, climate is not the same as weather.
And right now, our weather sucks.

Not sure what they got down there but here I have nearly 20 inches of snow and I hear the Baltimore area has 30
Had they not called it I still would not make the event today; I cannot get out of my neighborhood; even my neighbors with SUVs can't the snow on the road is bumper high.
