Kong Head survey

Hey,
I made a Kong toy mace outta the hexagon-like XL sized Stuff-a-ball, and have use it a bit for about a year.
I like it, and never seem to have a problem with folks taking the shots but find that the XL is just a bit more unwieldy and bigger than I would like, so when this mace die's I want to go to a smaller one like the lg or med.
one of my idea's is to make a great mace out of 3 or so medium stuff a ball's, or something similar.
What are your experiences? Do you have pic's?
