This generally doesn't work.
But....
Several folks have taken an interest in SCA fighting in my area, and the local fighter practice is a bit far away... and well, they don't have loner gear anyway...
I'm trying to put together a set of loner gear for local folks...
I've built a set of spaulders, and plan on putting together a simple coat of plates...
But...
I was wondering if anybody had any old helmets... rusty, whatever...
One would be plenty... but there are three folks who want to give this a shot... and it would be neat to get them into gear...
I'm attempting to put together two suits of loaner gear...
One Large to Extra Large, big head...
One medium to small (for the two chicks...)
One suit would work, if the folks who were interested didn't vary so much in size...
Any help would be most appreciated...
Old rattan... old shields... etc... Leftover armor after you went up a notch... plastic, leather, whatever... anything will help... shield or sword baskets...

Thanks... I'm doing this with or without donations... I'm just shocked there are so many folks in my immediate area who have shown interest... its odd for H'ville.
I've already put together two suits of fencing gear... but the majority wants to fight heavy...

I'm always shocked by the generosity of folks on this board.
You guys rule.
Two pair gauntlets are covered. (Doner wants to be anonymous)
Warclub offered various plastic parts...

I'll be out of town working all week, but I'll try to reply to any more emails on Friday afternoon.
I can work with anything... it doesn't have to be pretty, rust, notta problem...
