Basic Swordfighting

Post by Ioxunimous »

Hi

I just wonder if there are any good resources on the internet for swordfighting, with broadsword(its bredsvärd on swedish).

I found www.aemma.org and i have checked that out...

Else, any good books?

The ARMA is without doubt the best site on the Internet for Western swordsmenship. ARMA has a large number of historical manuals and a large number of articles that will help you get started.

As John Clements pointed out in a recent thread on the ARMA forum, "A broadsword is an early 17th century form of cutlass or backsword, essentially a saber like weapon".

Take a look at the swordfighting links on my site...I tried to put sites on there that deal with the old masters and a lot of the sites have books.....
