Greetings all,
My wife and I have just decided to move back to the Cleveland area. I am originally from there, but have been gone for about ten years; and I was wondering if there were any historic combat study groups in the area. I currently live in Denver and had met up with a great group of chaps at the Rocky Mountain Historic Combat Guild. I am primarilly interested in the art of Fiore di Liberi at the moment, but I eventually want to look at some of the German styles, as well as 19th century pugilism(sp). Basically I was wondering if there was a group already in place, or do I have to start my own. Thanks in advance

It appears you'll need to start your own. There are a couple of folks locally who have studied the various forms, but no one I know has a practice group going. I'd be pleased to introduce you to at least a couple of gentlemen and 'scholars-at-arms' of my acquaintance, though. When are you moving back to town, and to what part of Cleveland? (Or do you know yet?)

Greetings Pietro,
We will be living in the glorius town of Painesville, but we will have to be active in the Cleftlands as I have heard that the shire of Eastwatch is defunct. I will be forming a study group with some friends in the area.
