The football approach works wonders at the end of the game- it's part of mopping up. The time that Count Stephen literally tackled me and laid on top of me until I gave up is a prime example. The only way to get somebody like me to stop stabbing is to kill me or hold me down until I just get tired. I am always ransomed because I pay well and I'm somewhat famous.

Using a "sack force" followed by a quick "kill team" would probably reduce the numbers on one side dramatically fast.
