Is it a good place to live?

I know about Alexandria, but know not the local group...

Never lived in that area myself. It looks to be close to the Ontario / Quebec border. My wife lived out that way in Brockville for quite a while. Looks to be about a hours drive to Ottawa and a bit more than an hour to Kingston, so you wouldn't be too close to either of the two closest groups. On the other hand you look to be about an hour from Montreal and the group there.

As far as what living there is like I can't say too much. According to my wife, twenty years ago it was a small rural town with a sizable number of French speaking families.

Hope this helps.

The Ottawa group, Caldrithig, is a sizable well rounded group. Active in arts and sciences and in combat both armoured and rapier. The current Baron is Sir Menken Brecken O.P., former Chairman of the BOD. His wife is Dame Eleanor, O.L. currently on vigil for her Pelican. The people up there are good folk.

The group in Kingston is quite a bit smaller, more of a struggling university group, but nice people too.

The group in Montreal is a large group as well. The ones i have met seemed like nice people but I don't know too much about them.
