Were polearms effective at BON?

Post by Aaron »

Hi,

Just looking at the video I can't get a clear answer. Those who were there, did you see polearms used effectively by anybody but Sir Gaston?

They have a clear utilty in specific tactical situations. 1 vs. 1 is not one of those situations. Hammering the bejusus out of a guy who is hung up with someone else is their primary function.

Can you hit with both ends of the polearm, like pugil sticks? I tried on my pell and the rate of fire and power is amazing.

I'd be looking at a steel shod halberd and just throw haymakers like I was boxing.
