this is the first place we went? Not to "rock on, i have a ton of pics that have just been sitting in my photobucket, love to share." but rather to "grrrrr..delete link...grrrrr....legal crap...grrrr...better not be hawking my image to the highest bidder!"

dammit!
Trolls. Always looking at the sewage and never seeing the rainbows flying out of the Unicorn butts.

Really Max?

Just relating the experiences I've seen and had. One thing the SCA has, is a surplus of snowflakes who insist on making it about them, whenever humanly possible.
Dude. Joke. Did you not see the part about unicorn butts?

With the number of times folks have pulled the "T" word on you, I'd'a thought you'd'a kind've grown comfortable with it by now!

But I do agree with the thought expressed that here we had a nice positive easy solution that pushed an important ball forward up the hill in regards to getting our photographic community starting to talk amongst itself and figure out how best to promote their work... and the first responses were all potential criticisms based on some negative personal anecdotes that didn't really relate to there being a forum for photographers to discuss stuff.

If it is on private property, and you are asked to not take photos (whether in person or via a sign) then you likely shouldn't be taking 'em. :)
Depends on the kingdom. IIRC in An Tir most events are on private land.

Cow fields are cheap camping sites, and plentiful. :)
