Ok what to get the Scadian who has every thing? How about custom cast Pommel and Quillions.

This set of quillions was designed and cast by Scott Marshal and are his first attemped at it. Follow on work are much nicer! But no pictures as yet Image ,, Scott also has began to make armour useing patterns from the archive and wishs me to thank all the members who posted patterns. ( Scott hasn't got a computer and does'nt want one ) His first project was a set of legs and I hope to post pictures of them in the next week or so.

Bascot: I believe they are 1 1/4 inchs, it has passed a marshalls for 2 handed, so its sca legal.

Vladimir: No he's not going into production of them ( in fact he destorys the mold after making one ) however he has made another one for some one who asked, think he charged $325
Canadian, the second one had a lot more detail on it, the Quillion was shaped as lighting bolts with the ends having hammer heads , the pommel was in the shape of Thors hammer and had nordic runes all over it!

All,

I could just be my eyes, but the pommel did not look at least 1.25inches thick. If it is not, it would not be legal in SCA heavy fighting..

The pommel is over 1.25 in fact closer to 1.5
The reason it looks thin is more my lack of skill with a camera then anything else. Image

Well, I dunno, I think you should put a few layers of duct tape over the whole thing just to be sure. Perhaps some big balls of foam.

I kidding.
