Need a 10th c. "Viking" style axe made for me

I hope somebody can help me find someone that could make a 10th c. "Viking" style two handed axe. I'd like it to have a hardened edge (12") welded onto the "soft" head. I would also like it to be supplied with a 5 1/2 foot handle of whatever type of wood that can take serious use.
Thanks in advance for the help,
Angus

Aned if you look across at the thread titled "King Uther's axe" then you will see some pretty pictures of one.

Incidentaly, the shaft is about 5feet long...Uther is just a very tall boy.

Drop me an e-mail if it is similar to what you had in mind.

Try these guys.

A friend of mine recently bought a few. Very nice work.

You may have to install your own haft, but how hard can that be.

For $35, the "small" skeggox should do nicely...

Damn it, Vogeljager, you beat me to it.

It would seem fitting for a Northern folk, deriving the greater and better part of their speech, laws and customs from a Northern root, that the North should be to them, if not a holy land, yet at least a place more to be regarded than any part of the worldbeside, that howsoever their knowledge widened of other men, the faith and deeds of their forefathers would never lack intrest for them, but would always be kept in remembrance.
