Luckily for me at Crown then, I must have pulled something out of my @##!!! All of my oppenants that I killed last time died to On Side Blows. I didn't kill anyone with a Offside Blow all day...Must have been a freak occurance!

I went to Mars in my last fight and 'fell back on old habits' i believe is the commentary i've heard. I almost won that fight with those bad habits, but whatever.

I think your information on me is in general dated, Your Grace. I've beefed up my offense for the last couple of years and make most of my kills with flat snaps and wraps. (Tho I've had to cut back on wrap a bit since the elbow promblems.)

I'm honored that anyone would think of me at all. I'm just focusing on getting better. I look forward to fighting with you again once your shoulder heals and you come back.

you could very well be right bryce. i will have to review my copies from crown and study you a little closer. in a completly heterosexual sort of way i assure you

actually if you have any more recent tape of your fighting i would love a copy.

you are always welcome to come down here any time for some practice after i am fully recovered. perhaps after some kings mountain event. or you can catch me on one of my trips up to lynchburg or blacksburg. aside from that there is always pennsic.

Haven't seen Helmet fight in awhile but I don't remember him pushing many lists. And as to Shay, he's a good young fighter that reminds me of a first round draft pick. Has a lot of talent but lacks the veteran savy needed to "own" your list and your opponent. He'll be there soon but I'd have to give favorable odds on BdeB taking best-of-ten matchup between the two OR between ten common opponents (which is far more important).

Naw, I'd just try to throw a wrap or something and my 'bad habits' would magically turn it into an Offside and i'd most likely wack you in the head.

I really enjoyed our fights in the Oldcastle Tourney btw, there are some pictures online somewhere of one of them...

Hmm no one from Lochac post here anymore?

Time to chime in with a notable from our recent Crown Tourney -

Draco of Jorvik

He must be ok, he won! ;)

But seriously, he fought cleanly and with honour. I'm not sure that he is even squired to anyone here.

Oh and Baron Stephen Aldred fought like a man many years his junior to win the Wreath of Chivalry.

Edward?

If so, then I definitely agree with you. Fought against him and watched him, and he was SMOKIN people... he was wicked...

Wow. You honour me with you comments Jean Paul de Sens. That is indeed me in those pictures. Sir Tighearnain makes me blush by putting my name even on that list. The other fighters on that list are monster non-belts.

Hello,

I think 2 of them can safely come off the list now. His Exellency Sir Brendon the Tired, and Sir Grimr.

They were both knighted this past weekend at DoubleWars in Sweden. Grand site it was.

Goodness

Ed, who's been teaching you humility???

(btw -- I'd put Eduard at the top of the unbelt list in Atenveldt as well.)

What about the other polish guy? I think he posts here as badhairday. Makes nice armor with Windrose folks. I've never fought him, but he looked good from the sidelines last time I watched.

No joke... I don't know why he (Edward)wasn't in the finals that day (gotta admit I'd already run off to do pickup fights), but he was smokin people like a cheap cigar...

Ed, I remember meeting you last summer at some event down in Tempe? Where Johannes brought you that sweet helm you have.

Ed is being very modest here. He is an excellent fighter. In our last tourney (round robin style) I always had to let out a sign and a "damn" everytime we met. At war I'm always glad to be on his side of his spear as well.
Gald you like his helm!

Tighearnain, I think when you made that list and put me on it I must have been having one of those really really really good practice weeks, or maybe you want something!

Dimitiy thankyou for the complements on the armour. I believe we met last year at Pennsic, and if you were watching me fight there I thought I was horrible.

I am happy to announce that over the last year 2 of these great fighters have been belted.

Cosimo Orsini took the Belt and Chain from the hands of Craven I at Highlands War last July.

Walrick Nightwalker was made a knight on the fields of Estrella War XXI just this past Sunday. Upon his knighting he is now known as Sir Walrick de Blakely.

These were both well deserved knighting and I am proud to call them both friends.

Both fine fighters and excellent guys.

Konall - good grief. I've had the pleasure of continuing my greatsword training against his leftie sword and board over the last couple of weeks. I have several nice "bruises teach best" spots that are healing on my right side. :D He has a very tight defense and a sense of timing that I hope to have someday.

Kaloc, unfortunately had back surgery just after this Pennsic past. He's hoping to get the go-ahead for slow work sometime in the next couple of weeks and is going to work toward being on the field at this Pennsic next. I haven't had the pleasure of fighting him in quite some time and am looking forward to trying to keep him from throwing that triple-pump.

Varus
Ankara
Oskgar
Mohammed
Ishido

have all been knighted in the last few months.

I met a Duke Konan (sp?) at Estrella.. is that the same guy? I believe he is from the Outlands. Slim, tall, neat beard, doesn't talk much, but seems like a really nice guy.

I'll add Lee to the list of Atenveldt unbelts.
