And he says that so far as he knows, there's no reason whatsoever that a person can't use the larger highway medians (we're talking Texas here, it's like TN... on some of these you could build Wal-marts between each set of lanes) for archery practice...
for those of you who, like me, really need to work on your plunging-fire shots, this could be a godsend, especially if you're practicing with your blunts.
Also, got to "eavesdrop" on a conversation involving some Turkmen and a goat hunt... six guys at a hundred yards shooting downhill at spooked animals... results: two dead goats, one instantly killed, the other killed where it lay. The guys in front shot direct, the guys in back arching... goat #1 was killed <i>at a gallop</i> while running, with a plunging shot.
So, ye combat archers... imagine the service you could render your lords if at maximum range you could reliably drop your shafts into a Home Depot bucket...
