Denver Seminar - Colin Richards

Post by jester »

Update: WE HAVE CONFIRMED THE SITE.
The Denver Waldorf School - 940 Fillmore Street, Denver, CO 80206

Directions: Please see Google Maps or take your best route to the intersection of Interstate-25 and 6th Avenue. Proceed East on 6th Avenue to Fillmore Street. Turn left onto Fillmore and head North until you reach 10th Avenue. The Denver Waldorf School will be on your right hand side. DO NOT PARK ON THE STREET. There is off-street parking behind the school next to the basketball court. The class will be held in the basement gym on the North side of the building.

Because this is a school absolutely no alcohol or sharp weapons are permitted. Because of noise restrictions and complaints from neighbors the site is non-smoking. Completely. Please do not go smoke on the street, that is worse.

Tuesday, September 13 6:30pm (sharp) - 9:30pm (roughly) Mr. Colin Richards will present on the I.33 manuscript, a 13th Century German manual of sword and buckler combat. If you wish to participate in the hands on portions you will need to come with the appropriate safety gear (eye protection, gloves, and cup recommended) and weapon simulators (arming sword and buckler). $5 for site fee + voluntary donation for Mr. Richards.

Thursday, September 15 6:30pm (sharp) - 9:30pm (roughly) Mr. Colin Richards will present on the dagger and grappling material of Maestro Fiore dei Liberi. If you wish to participate in the hands on portions you will need to come with the appropriate safety gear (eye protection, gloves, and cup recommended) and weapon simulators (arming sword and buckler). $5 for site fee + voluntary donation for Mr. Richards.
