Looking for ideas for a "round table" with hunting

Post by Kylan »

Hello all,

As the subject line says I would like to hold a small "round table" with a "hunting" theme. This will be small scale for the participants probably only 2 hunting groups at most.

Anyone have any suggestions, events you've been to in the past where they had this and it was fun. Things that you've seen tried that came out lame.

Basically I'm trying to compile a list of things fighters thought were a good time with this theme and things they would never want to see again.

Any input is welcome

If you're willing to put up with some sillyness there was a hunt I attended.
"hounds" were light armed SCA fighters with dirks,
"hunters" had boar spears
"bears" were members of the chivalry with their personal favorite weapns forms
"The boar" was a duke with two maces
It was an interesting but exausting afternoon
Sweat in the tiltyard, or bleed on the field.

I think the hounds should have bucklers too
Trying to learn derivations of field equations from a lecture is like trying to learn how to paint by watching Bob Ross on PBS.
