Historical Combat Studies in Denver Nov3&17

We're back! 
We will be having two Historical Combat Study sessions at Caerthean Fighter Practice (Denver, CO, USA). The first on November 3, 2005 and the second on November 17, 2005. These sessions will feature the grappling and dagger of Maestro Fiore dei Liberi (1410AD). The material will be based (entirely) on the interpretive work of Mr. Bob Charron (AKA Duke Conn MacNeil). This is the introductory material for Maestro Fiore's entire system and is the foundation upon which all his other material (sword, poleaxe, spear) is built.

These sessions will also serve as a nice little introduction to some aspects of the new Historical Combat Studies program. Society and Kingdom rules on this program can be seen at:

If you are interested in HCS but not particularly in Fiore please drop by and we can discuss ways to study material you are interested in. I hope to make this an ongoing study group if there is sufficient interest.
Just thought I'd let some of you folks know. This isn't going to be a seminar quality presentation since I have to spend some time upfront educating people about studying safely (and not taking the technique they just saw and immediately applying it full speed to their partner). This is the first, slow crawl towards getting this activity up and running in my local SCA.
